Does Active Auto accept every classic car restoration?
No blanket acceptance is promised. Send the make, model, year, photos, current condition and objective. The workshop confirms whether the vehicle, required systems and proposed scope can be handled before accepting the job.
Can you promise original or period-correct parts?
No. Availability, authenticity, condition, lead time and suitability must be verified for the exact vehicle. The written proposal should identify each proposed part and any outside specialist or owner-supplied component.
How long does classic car work take?
There is no universal duration. Diagnosis, dismantling findings, corrosion, fabrication, parts, outside-specialist work, finish approvals and reassembly all affect the vehicle-specific plan.
Can you inspect a classic before I buy it?
Ask for a vehicle-specific pre-purchase scope. The inspection should distinguish observed condition, inaccessible areas, further tests and matters that require a marque specialist or documentary verification.
Can the workshop decide whether restoration is financially worthwhile?
Active Auto can document condition and repair scope, but market value and investment outcome require independent valuation and owner judgement. A repair estimate is not a future-value guarantee.
